Olympic!

Olympic started yesterday!!
I received an email from my mom yesterday saying, ''Are you going to see Olympic?''.
Oh I wish, but Vancouver is far from here even though I live in same country, Canada! Vancouver is located in west end in Canada, and Saint John is located in East end in Canada which takes about 8 hours by airplane. I remembered last time I went back to Japan, I flew from Halifax to Calgary to Vancouver, which took us about 8 hours to get there and another 8 hours to Tokyo. So Vancouver is almost half way from here and Japan.

Did you watch openning ceremony? I was a little disappointed at this ceremony, but it's just beginning. I'm pretty sure we will witness many exciting games!

Almost There!

I'm usually off on Thursday. I could sleep in this morning, but my dog, Chester had an appointment for nuetering today, so I got up as usual, then took him in a vet at 8 in the morning. After leaving him there, I got back to home and worked on my winter project that I was doing since last winter. I did pretty much all last year, but never get to chance to finish the ends. Maybe I should say I didn't really want to. Because I knew finishing ends are not so exciting and it takes so much time. It took for me a couple of hours to do it today, but I was able to focus them and almost, almost there!! I can't tell you what it is right now, but soon you will find out!
Soon after I finished the ends vet called me to get Chester. Chester isn't active enough to play like Jack Russell, but he is fine! Just It was a shame I never meet Chester Jr. though.
You can check out my Winter Project Photos to see how much I made progress.

Licca's Etsy Shop!

Hi!! Enjoying the winter?? I found that this winter in Saint John is so much nicer and warmer compare to last one. It gets cold sometime, but it's nice and sunny most of the time which makes me want to go outside a lot. Probably another reason why I don't feel so depressed this winter is that fun and lively dog, Chester came into my life. He is 7-months-old Jack Russell. We go bark park in Rockwood all the time where dog can play together inside the fence.
I'm writing this on the couch and he is sleeping right next to me. He is my angel...
Anyways...

I am pleased to annouce that my Etsy shop is now officially open!! I haven't listed many items, but I will slowly list more items. Off course everything on my shop is handmade by me. I will still taking your orders through email, too.

At this moment, I have crochet toques and origami earrings listed.
You can also check other toques from this link Licca's Toques and my customers from My Happy Customers. (Crochet)

Here is more photos of my Origami earrings. (Origami)
I am offering origami class for people who are interested in origami and Japanese culture since last winter. So far I had some classes in multi-cultural center at Saint John city market.

O.K. that's all for tonight!!
Time to make some tea.

Licca's Little Taste Of Asia Soup

This time of the year, it's good to have nice warm food like soup! Why don't you try Licca's Little Taste Of Asia Soup??

Licca's super easy tast like Asia soup!
*Ingredients*
Bean sprouts
Green onions
Dumpling for soup (or meat ball)
Chiken bouillons
Sesami oil (It's the key!)
*Recipe*
I usually don't measure when I cook, so here is approximately what I did!1. Boil water and put some chiken bouillons. It should taste like chiken soup. 2. Put little bit of sesami oil. This is a key to make this whole new asian taste.3. Put bean sprout, dumplings.4. Put green onions right befofe you turn heat off.
*Sesami oil is really usefull when you want to make something asian.*I only put bean sprout as a vegetable, but I think you could also put carrots, Chinese cabbage, or anything you could think of.
