Starbucks Grounds For Your Garden

Coffee is my thing... Starbucks is right next door to my work and I go to get a cup of coffee every shift at work. Starbucks people know my drink which is tall Pike most of the time, and I can have fresh brewed coffee every visit.

Last time I was there, I came across this big package of something. I picked one up and found out it's used coffee grounds for the garden. I guess coffee grounds are a nutritional additive for the soil and all you need to do is that mix some grounds to your soil. Since I started some plants and I am planning more, I brought one to home. It's free and it doesn't hurt to try and good for the environment. You can also make your compost by combining with this in your compost pile.

Yardwork & Proud Owner

This guy, Mr.D, is very proud of his yard. Everyday he goes ''Hey, did you notice??'' I replied ''What?'' and he says ''Grass is really green.'' We seeded the grass last year and he is really happy how it turned out and this year they are even thicker and greener. It's like a carpet. And he is not the only one around the neighbour. I almost see some neighbour everyday working on thier yard and taking good care of it. They are all proud!!
